She loves the beauty of the colors, and the challenges of the the transparent watercolor medium . “Painting in watercolors requires thinking about your process in a very different way than painting with other media” she says. Her work is primarily representational.

She credits her artistic development and inspiration to Connecticut artists: Miriam Mills, Jan Riviere and Bill Meddick. Printmaking |
In 2010 Lori started a small business, Fine Art Reproductions, to provide scanning and giclee printing services to other artists. Her interest in this area was inspired by using printers- Don Dressler of Glastonbury Design and Carlos Rios of Milford, to produce prints of her original works. She was fascinated by the technology and the ability to produce highly accurate reproductions with archival quality.
Lori enjoys working with artists to reproduce their paintings and adjusts the colors of the print to match the colors of the original manually, to achieve the artist's ultimate satisfaction. She strives to offer top quality prints at reasonable prices with personal and reliable service. |
